The 30th annual CalvertHealth Foundation Benefit Golf Classic returns to beautiful Old South Country Club in Lothian, Maryland on Monday, May 6, 2019.
The day brings together members of the community dedicated to advancing health care for our local community.Proceeds from the 30th annual tournament will be used to support the CalvertHealth Oncology Navigation Program.
This program connects patients with a nurse navigator to coordinate effective care by coordinating care between health care providers and the patient. At a time that can be daunting for most patients, nurse navigators help to facilitate the appropriate use of health care resources linking patients to available needed resources. These trusted care advocates help patients manage their cancer diagnosis.
This year’s golf tournament will help fund the navigation program at CalvertHealth providing enhanced levels of patient-centered care. Your support of this important benefit event will help us to provide these much-needed services to our patients as they battle their cancer diagnosis.
