5th Annual Fairy & Gnome Home Festival

An afternoon of fairies, gnomes, free-play activities and more!FairyFest1

Annmarie Sculpture Garden & Arts Center in Solomons, Maryland, will host the 5th Annual Fairy & Gnome Home Festival on Sunday, April 26, from noon to 4:00pm. The festival offers fun and engaging activities along the Wooded Path and throughout the grounds. This event creates a magical world of discovery, fun, and learning opportunities for boys and girls of all ages.  The first stop is the lovely Fairy Lolly, which was ranked by Chesapeake Family Magazine as second in the top six playgrounds of Central Maryland! This free-play area is where young guests can climb, explore, build, and dream with a variety of creative toys and props.

FairyFest4Families can also build their own fairy houses and gnome homes or new this year, make your own magic wand at the Mega-Wand making station then create yourFairyFest3 own take home Forrest Friend! (all materials provided) Every little fairy and gnome will have fun with all the Gnome Games, including Feed the Trash Dragon, catch a fish in the Fairy Fishing Hole, and dig for treasure in the Troll’s Treasure Trough!

Be sure to stop at one of the fairy vendors to find the perfect costume or check out the face FairyFest2painting tents, temporary tattoos, chalk fun, and of course, yummy refreshments! Don’t forget your camera. This year there will be nearly 55 handmade fairy houses and gnome homes scattered along the Wooded Path, with a walking guide to help you locate each home.
