On August 23, Jase Scott rescued his grandmother after she fell into the water, when she stepped on a loose pier board, while crabbing in Solomons. When his grandmother fell, Jase quickly retrieved her cell phone and called his mother for help. He also retrieved a heavy ladder and placed it overboard to pull his grandmother to safety, he got a bucket for her to use to step on to get out of the water. When his injured grandmother got to shore, Jase stayed by her side and comforted her until his uncle arrived to help. His grandmother was shaken and hurt her back in the fall.
