Monica A. Korczyk, Administrative Aide for Calvert Emergency Communications retired on September 7, 2018, after dedicating 30 years of faithful and loyal service to the citizens of Calvert County and the State of Maryland.
Her admirable career began September 6, 1988, as a Communications Officer I and on September 7, 1989, she was promoted to Communications Officer II, and transitioned to an Office Specialist I for the Division, August 30, 1999. She reclassified her position to Office Specialist II in 2003, and to an Administrative Aide in 2006.
Monica has provided reliable and exemplary service during her career; thereby gaining tremendous respect, trust, and admiration from Calvert County citizens and fellow constituents who had the pleasure to work with her. Monica’s commendable and distinguished service has been demonstrated with a spirit of pride and commitment throughout her exemplary career with the Calvert Emergency Communications.
On September 18, 2018, the Calvert Board of County Commissioners presented a proclamation as a tribute to Monica’s outstanding accomplishments during her notable career; thereby, recognizing this amazing woman who strove to improve the quality of life for all Calvert County citizens.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED by the Board of County Commissioners of Calvert County that the appreciation of all Calvert County citizens is hereby extended to Monica A. Korczyk on her Retirement after 30 years of reliable and commendable public service. BE IT FURTHER PROCLAIMED that the Board of County Commissioners of Calvert County joins with the community, co-workers, family, and friends in conveying best wishes for a long, healthy, and happy retirement with continued success in all her future endeavors.
