The Employee Recognition Committee (ERC) was created on January 1, 1982, to publicly recognize County employees with awards such as Employee of the Month. The Employee of the Month Award acknowledges individual excellence for superior job performance and/or special individual efforts that go above and beyond the employee’s normal job duties.
The categories for recognition are: quality of work, respect of fellow employees, effectiveness of public contact, contributions toward improving organizational morale, quantity of work, and/or actions that improve the public image of County Government.
The ERC is pleased to announce that Toni Zinn, Executive Administrative Aide, Water & Sewer, was selected as the May 2019 Employee of the Month.
Toni Zinn, Executive Administrative Aide Water & Sewer, started in the Water & Sewer division as an Executive, Administrative Aide in July 2018 and immediately made a positive impact. While learning her new job, Toni improved Water & Sewer’s administrative processes and identified more efficient ways to do the job. She implemented a new invoicing process to help ensure timely bill payments. Toni also coordinated the office remodel. Toni’s exemplary work ethic and attitude motivated everyone to get the job done. Her efforts helped improve the public image of Water & Sewer and County government, by providing a clean professional office for the public to visit.
Tori was presented a framed certificate and a check from the Calvert Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) at their meeting on June 4, 2019.
Kudos to Toni for her extraordinary accomplishments.
