The Arick L Lore American Legion Post 274 in Lusby held their annual scholarship fundraiser on St Patrick’s Day on Saturday, March 17, 2018 in their post home. Known as the St Paddy’s Day Pot of Gold Cash Bash, tickets were sold to benefit scholarships. It allowed ticket holders to win cash. Tickets were pulled every 15 minutes, from 1 to 5 pm.
As an added incentive, ticket holders were treated to a St Paddy’s dinner of corned beef, cabbage and potatoes, cooked by the County Commander Jay Bolles. And it was all gone in a flash! Attendees were treated to music by DJ Rick Watson and bartending skills by American Legion Post 274 Commander Nate Stephens.
From all the laughter, it seems everyone enjoyed the afternoon festivities. Please check out the picture gallery below.
