The Employee Recognition Committee (ERC) was created on January 1, 1982. One of our primary functions is publicly recognizing County employees for outstanding performance. One way this is achieved is through the Team Excellence Awards program.

The enrollment process for Calvert County Government employee benefits can be intimidating and confusing. This year, in order to stem the rise in future health care costs, the Human Resources Department restructured the core benefits offerings to include new options. To ensure that all employees understand these options, the Benefits Team worked diligently to disseminate information regarding options and costs. They prepared comprehensive information packets for employees that provided step-by-step directions on how to complete enrollment. They offered benefit fairs, benefit presentations, and one-on-one appointments to distribute information and answer questions.
Their exemplary team effort helped reduce the stress involved with benefits enrollment and gave County employees the opportunity to make informed decisions.
