The Calvert County Board of County Commissioners recognized Executive Administrative Assistant Sandy Bentley for dedicating 25 years of faithful service and wished her well in her retirement.
Sandy began her career with the county government in January 1995 as a part-time clerk for the Transportation Division and advanced to a full-time grant position in November 1995, as an Office Assistant for the State’s Attorney’s Office’s Child Support Division. In June 1997, Sandy assumed the role of Office Specialist for the Department of Economic Development and was promoted to Executive Administrative Assistant in September 2006. In July 2017, Sandy acted as the executive administrative assistant and office manager for both the departments of Economic Development and Communications & Media Relations.
Sandy is a dedicated public servant, a positive role model and a true asset to county government. Thank you and congratulations on retirement, Sandy!
