With two outs, and runners at runners at first and second, Casey Stevenson ripped a single to right to score Zach Wilson from third to make it 1-1.
Southern Maryland took the lead for good in the bottom of the sixth inning. Zach Wilson led off the inning with a single to left centerfield. Two batters later, with one out, Gustavo Molina drove one over the wall in left for a two-run home run to put the Blue Crabs out in front 3-1.
