On April 3, 2020 at 6:59 am, a commercial fire was discovered by a passerby. Bay District Volunteer Fire Department responded.
The fire at Captain Pat’s Seafood, 21901 Three Notch Road in Lexington Park, was a single story commercial seafood restaurant. There was a smoke alarm present and activated.
The fire was determined to be accidental, caused by a mechanical malfunction in the boiler. The fire caused significant damage estimated at $200,000 to the structure and $100,000 to the contents.
