The Employee Recognition Committee (ERC) was created on January 1, 1982, to publicly recognize County employees with awards such as Employee of the Month.
The Employee of the Month award acknowledges individual excellence for superior job performance and/or special individual efforts that go above and beyond the employee’s normal job duties. The categories for recognition are: quality of work, respect of fellow employees, effectiveness of public contact, contributions toward improving organizational morale, quantity of work, and/or actions that improve the public image of County Government.
The Employee Recognition Committee is pleased to announce that Michael Oliver, Park Ranger, Calvert County Parks & Recreation, was selected as the September 2019 Employee of the Month.
