Complete Details Available at BeforeItsTooLate.Maryland.gov
Maryland’s Opioid Operational Command Center (OOCC) today announced a call for proposals for grants under its Fiscal Year 2021 Competitive Grant Program.
The purpose of the OOCC’s Competitive Grant Program is to distribute grant funding to the highest-scoring proposals received from state and local governments and private, community-based partners that serve to meet some of the greatest needs around the state. The funding available for the OOCC’s FY21 Competitive Grants Program is approximately $5 million.
State agencies, local governments (including local school systems), and private, community-based partners are eligible to apply for Competitive Grant Program funding. All project proposals must address the opioid crisis through the governor’s policy priorities of Prevention & Education, Enforcement & Public Safety, and/or Treatment & Recovery. Additionally, projects must align with the goals established in the state’s Inter-Agency Opioid Coordination Plan.
The application deadline for FY21 proposals is Friday, April 17, 2020 at 5 pm. Interested parties can find a document outlining complete grant application requirements and award standards under the “Grants” tab on the OOCC’s website, BeforeItsTooLate.Maryland.gov. The document includes key dates, application process, evaluation standards, funding specifications, reporting requirements, and more.
