Members and friends of Calvert County Historical Society, unfortunately our Brown Bag Lunch scheduled for September 9, 2021, will need to be postponed until early next year. We will be working with our guest speaker to reschedule this very important topic, (Replacing Tobacco; The Evolution of Agriculture in Calvert County), in early 2022.
Additionally, we are taking this opportunity to include an announcement (attached) about our CCHH Annual Membership Dinner to be held on September 23, 2021. The annual dinner event will be held in an outside in a covered, pavilion, at Jefferson Patterson Park and Museum, on Mackall Road, St. Leonard, MD. Please make your reservations for all the festivities including our: Annual Silent Auction and Reception, beginning at 5:30, followed by the Annual Dinner, (catered by Thompson’s Seafood), 6:30 – 7:30. Featured guest speaker at the diner is Carol McCabe Booker, discussing her new book: Cove Point On The Chesapeake, The Beacon, the Bay and the Dream.
Reservations should be made by the 17th of September, by calling 410 535 2452.
