Chaplain – Part time (24 hours a week) to join our team of professionals. We make a difference every day to patients and families coping with end of life illness by providing physical, psychosocial, spiritual care and bereavement services. The Chaplain is responsible for assessing the spiritual and religious needs of patients and their families, arranging for the provision of spiritual and religious support in accordance with their wishes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree from an accredited college, university or divinity school is required;
Ordained, credentialed, or commissioned according to the practices of a recognized religious sect, or a division of a recognized religious sect;
A minimum of one Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) unit, as well as experience in a healthcare setting, required;
Pastoral counseling plus 3-5 years’ experience in chaplaincy focusing on work with the dying and bereaved preferred;
Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills, presentation skills, and teaching skills; and
Must have a reliable automobile, valid driver’s license, and the minimum state required liability auto insurance.
