Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we approach the midpoint of the school year, perhaps it is time for a district-wide reminder to families about the responsibilities and cautions regarding technology to take at the home level.
The Technology Support Page on the CCPS website provides helpful tips for troubleshooting and the email and phone number for the Technology Help Desk:

The page also addresses content filtering:
Is there any filter on the internet content on devices?
When using the internet connection provided by CCPS (in other words, when you are on the CCPS network), all devices use CCPS internet content filters. This means that CCPS can block out most inappropriate content. When devices are not using the CCPS internet connection (such as on a home network), access is determined by the subscriber to the internet. Parents should work with their internet service provider to ensure filters are on their network. Some examples of devices that may require filtering include: smart phones, gaming systems, tablets, laptops, desktops.
Although no content filter is guaranteed to be 100% effective, the attached document provides three vetted sites to block unapproved content on your home network.
