Congratulations to the winners of the Regional LEGO Robotics Championship!
The competition, hosted by the College of Southern Maryland, consisted of students from elementary and middle schools in Calvert, Charles, St. Mary’s, and Prince George’s Counties.
Each year, the LEGO challenge is based on a real-world scientific topic. This year’s topic was Nature’s Fury. Teams of up to ten students participate in the challenge by programming an autonomous robot to score points on a themed playing field and developing a solution to a problem they have identified.
