Lowering your taxes starts with proper planning. The new tax law is the largest piece of tax reform legislation in 30 years, will impact taxes in 2018, and may lower taxes for individuals and small businesses.
Askey, Askey & Associates and the WorkForce Center at the College of Southern Maryland are offering a mini-course for the community to discuss upcoming tax law changes. This mini-course is designed to simplify 2018 tax reform for both individuals and businesses. Our instructors will outline changes that may affect your tax situation and help you develop tax-efficient strategies for year-round planning. Topics for individuals include: tax rate changes, increases in educational credits, the elimination of personal exemptions, and changes to deductions.
Business topics will include updated expensing and new deductions for service businesses. Get the information you need, and have all those nagging questions answered, before the 2018 filing season begins.
