How about a dinner theater with wine tasting and a culinary delight dinner? Yes, there will be a Dinner Theater with a play provided by the Alumni Players of Our Lady Star of the Sea, with a comedy, murder mystery, requiring audience participation. It’s called “Dying for a Drink”!
Wine tasting will be provided by Running Hare Vineyard of Prince Frederick, and they will also sell it by the glass or a bottle you may take home. Running Hare is one of Calvert’s great vineyards. Dinner will be provided by Caney Creek of Prince Frederick, with Chef Bob Bonner, who took second place in World Food Competition. So, you know dinner will be awesome!
Appetizers will be crab dip, shrimp bruschetta, and veggies. Dinner will be steamship round, lemon herb chicken, green beans almandine, herb roasted potatoes, salad, rolls and brownies and ice cream.
It will all take place on April 14, 2018 at Middleham and St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in the Great Hall, (located between Middleham Chapel and SMILE Food Pantry) 10210 HG Trueman RD, Lusby MD 20657.
Doors will open at 5:30 pm. So, hurry and get your tickets before they sell out. Tickets are $65 each and the fundraiser will support the two chapels, Middleham in Lusby and St Peter’s in Solomons, as well as the Great Hall.
