The Detention Center Team is being recognized for their quick and decisive life-savings actions.
The Detention Center Life Saving Team:
Corporal Christopher Gray; Cdfc. Stephen Hance; Cdfc. Rasheed lmmam; Cdfc. Ronald Richardson, Cdfc. John Zalusky; CD Anthony Marinelli; CD Jamie Sikorski; CD Jarrett Turner; and Medic Alyssa Cochran.
In April, at 2:00 a.m. an individual was discovered in a life-threatening situation. While waiting for emergency personnel to arrive, the team began resuscitation. The team members rotated giving CPR until there was a strong rhythmic heartbeat and breathing. The individual was flown to P.G. Shock Trauma.
The group’s efforts in our facility, in flight and on the ground, and their effective lifesaving efforts resulted in the individual being released from the hospital. Without their intervention, the individual would have most certainly perished. Their supervisor, Sgt. Ryan McGaffin, the Sheriff, the administration, and Detention Center coworkers greatly appreciate the dedication, quick response, and hard work!
Congratulation to the Calvert County Detention Center Employees for a job well done!
