During the final weeks of the year, many turn their attention to gift-giving. In 2012 a global initiative was begun to urge people to “fill the heart not the shopping cart” the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. Giving Tuesday is a chance to give to charity. It’s an opportunity for friends to support the students and the science at the Chesapeake Biological Lab.
