The Calvert County Employee Recognition Committee supported the nomination of Kenny Hoofnagle for Employee of the Month for June 2015. Kenny was summoned before the Calvert Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) to receive his award.
Kenny works at the Chesapeake Hills Golf Course as a Starter/Ranger. He has been with the golf course for over a year and will fill in where needed at all positions. So far he has worked as a bartender, outside cart attendant and has even covered the pro-shop. Kenny has gone above and beyond his normal duties on countless occasions, treating customers and co-workers with the utmost respect. He is always willing to lend a hand.
He is also an accomplished carpenter and has put his talents to work in and around the clubhouse. He volunteered his craftsmanship to refinish every solid wood table in the Grille Room, removed and remodeled the back bar in the Grille Room, made a LED lighted liquor bottle shelf, a glass/wine rack, and relocated two large flat screen televisions. Kenny also created a sand bottle holder to help golfers use more sand/seed mix during their golfing rounds. He is also in the process of refinishing the front of the bar in the Grille Room.
As Employee of the Month, Kenny Hoofnagle was presented with a check and a certificate by the BOCC, for his dedication and hard work.
