Wes LaPre retired on July 16, 2021, after dedicating more than 16 years of faithful and loyal service to the Calvert County Government Department of Technology Services, the citizens of Calvert County and the State of Maryland.
His career began with the Department of Technology Services on December 6, 2004, as Systems Analyst Supervisor. He then became the Records Management Systems Administrator beginning April 2, 2018, where he has served until his retirement.
His devotion runs beyond his professional life. Wes has a grown son who he is dedicated to and with whom he is looking forward to spending more time. He has also dedicated himself to the United States Civil Air Patrol and has thoroughly enjoyed the numerous decades he has been a member.
The Calvert Board of County Commissioners presented this proclamation as a tribute to Wes’s outstanding work performance during his career; thereby, recognizing this remarkable employee who has dedicated himself to improving the quality of life for all Calvert County citizens.
It was proclaimed by the Calvert Board of County Commissioners that the appreciation of all Calvert County citizens is hereby extended to Wes LaPre on his Retirement after more than 16 years of reliable and commendable public service. And it was further proclaimed by the Calvert Board of County Commissioners that they joined the community and Wes’s co-workers, family and friends, conveying best wishes for a long, healthy, and happy retirement with continued success in all his future endeavors.
