CAASA will offer it’s successful, Let’s Talk” Mental Health and Your Teen: What’s the Connection to Substance Use presentation on Thursday, October 17th from 6:30 to 8 p.m., at the Harriet E. Brown Community Center, 901 Dares Beach Road, Prince Frederick. The workshop will be led by Christina Spangler, Southern Maryland Regional Supervisor, Maryland Coalition of Families.
CAASA is pleased to offer this presentation. “It is important for residents to understand the connection between mental health and the misuse of alcohol and other drugs and to find appropriate mental health care and resources,” states Candice D’Agostino, Coordinator, Calvert Alliance Against Substance Abuse, Inc. (CAASA). “Substance use disorder affects families in our community and it’s important to provide information that is helpful to a family’s journey with addiction and recovery”, offered Debbi Mister, President, Board of Directors, Calvert Alliance Against Substance Abuse, Inc. (CAASA).
