Tools for Disaster Response and Recovery
Like our constituents around the state and partners around the country, the Maryland Historical Trust is watching Hurricane Florence and hoping for the best possible outcomes for the people and places affected by the storm. Although it looks like the worst impacts will remain to the south of Maryland, our communities may experience moderate to severe flooding over the next few days. We are working with the Maryland Emergency Management Agency and other sister agencies to monitor the storm and provide assistance as needed.
If you live in an affected area, please check our resources on disaster recovery and historic properties, available online through our Weather It Together program. We have updated the page with a form to self-report impacts, so that we can best respond and plan accordingly.
Stay safe and dry this weekend!
