Everyone meet K9 Copper (if you haven’t already that is)! K9 Copper has been with the Maryland State Police for five years!
K9 Copper is a bloodhound assigned to the Maryland State Police (MSP) K-9 Unit and primarily works out of the Prince Frederick Barrack with his K9 handler.
He was donated to the MSP by a breeder from North Carolina. Since becoming a working K9, K9 Copper has made approximately 25 finds between evidence and live finds. K9 Copper’s work doesn’t stop in Prince Frederick though! K9 Copper has worked in every single Maryland County as well as Washington, D.C., Virginia and Pennsylvania (just to make a few)!
