There are a number of venues in Calvert County on May 25, 2015, for all who wish to pay their respects for those who gave their
all for our freedom.
American Legion Post 274 Memorial Day
The post will have our Annual Memorial Day Ceremony at Arick L. Lore’s gravesite at 10 am. We welcome all who wish to attend. Finally the post will have its open house beginning at 1400.
American Legion Post 206 Memorial Day
American Legion Post 206 will conduct a traditional Memorial Day Ceremony in Veterans’ Park at 10:00 am. Kellam’s Field will be the location of the Stars and Stripes Recreational Tournament Championship Game, to be held at 12:00 pm. Everyone is asked to observe the National Moment of Silence at 3:00 pm.
Memorial Day Service to be Held on Courthouse Greens Monday, May 25
The public is invited to attend the annual Memorial Day Service held by Calvert County American Legion Posts Monday, May 25, 1-2:30 p.m., on the Courthouse Greens in Prince Frederick.
In the event of inclement weather the service will be held inside the courthouse.
