Put your skills and talents to use!
Each year, the Maryland State Arts Council (MSAC) relies on an array of arts professionals to assist with the important work of evaluating grant applications. These qualified experts have experience in the field and an understanding of the artistic and organizational requirements and standards in their artistic categories.
Panelists appointed by the MSAC will review grant applications, conduct on-site interviews and evaluations, and submit a written report on assigned organizations prior to a spring Grants Review Panel meeting. A panelist is appointed for a one-year term (which may be renewed), and will receive a modest honorarium for service. In addition, panelists will be reimbursed for travel expenses.
