North Beach Handicap / Disability Parking Spaces

2022-09-11

“I’m just running in real quick!” “It’s raining and this is the closest spot to the door!”

These are the excuses we hear when people have parked illegally in the two handicap/disability parking spots in front of the Post Office, which are clearly marked with a stencil painted on the asphalt and signage.

Be a good neighbor and leave these spaces for those that truly need them.

Only park in these spaces if you are displaying legal and valid handicap/disability tags or placards.

The penalty for illegally parking in an accessible parking space can range from $80 to more than $150.
