Day long program for young visitors
Registration is now open for the Pirates: Fact vs. Fiction day camp at Historic St. Mary’s City, where children will learn the truth behind the myths and legends of piracy in the 1600’s and 1700’s. This day camp/workshop is filled with hands on activities that will explain pirate life, punishments, and weaponry. The program, designed for children 11 – 14 years old, takes place on June 16 from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. The cost is $30.00 per child ($25.00 for Friends members). Space is limited and registration is required, closes June 9.
