Thefts from vehicles are on the rise; don’t make yourself an easy target!
The Town of North Beach would like to remind citizens to lock your car doors and remove any valuables whenever you park your vehicle. It takes very little time for a thief to enter an unlocked vehicle and relieve the owner of their hard earned property.
If it isn’t practical to remove the valuables, please ensure that they are locked in the trunk or hidden from view. Medications and cash should never be left unattended inside your vehicle.
It is also a good idea to lock sheds, garages and any other areas where valuables are stored. Any time you observe suspicious activity, please report it immediately. Non emergencies can be reported to the Calvert County Sheriff’s Department at 410.535.2800. For emergencies, please call 911.
