Randy Gray is April’s Employee of the Month

2015-05-05

Randy GrayFor the month of April 2015, the Employee Recognition Committee (ERC) presented the nomination of Randy Gray to the Calvert Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) as Employee of the Month. Randy works for Buildings and Grounds as a Building and grounds Worker II.

Buildings and Grounds recently completed the construction of the new courtroom for the Circuit Court. During the construction, Randy worked long and tireless hours to make sure the courtroom addition was completed on time and on budget. He came in early, stayed late, and worked long hours on weekends due to the contractor’s work schedules for the past six months. Some of the work had to be done on weekends so as not to interrupt the county government. He volunteered for these extra job duties, and stayed on top of the construction schedule and kept his supervisor informed of the job progress and of any project issues. His dedication to the project and eye for detail ensured that the county received the best work possible and it is reflected in the finished courtroom.

Randy Gray, as Employee of the Month for April 2015, was presented a check and a certificate at the BOCC meeting on April 28th.

Congratulations for a job well done, Randy Gray!
