On Tuesday, March 24, 2015, Restaurant Week 2015 winners were drawn at the Calvert Board of County Commissioners. Each
basket contained goodies including gift certificates from some of the participating restaurants.
Joyce Baki, Tourism Specialist with the Department of Economic Development, said there were over 560 comment cards turned in from the 39 restaurants participating. Many of the comments were positive and many were first time participants, eating at a place they hadn’t tried before. Restaurants were also positive on the new diners that came to try out Restaurant Week, during the 10 days.
The Grand Prize name drawn was Kelly Gates. There were two other winners John M Garret and Tom Volpe.
