Bring a lawn chair or blanket, along with a picnic and bask in this solar phenomenon. The partial eclipse begins at 1:15; maximum eclipse at 2:42 pm, when about 80% of the sun will be obscured by the moon. Finally the eclipse ends at 4:01. You can come for all or part of the event.
We’ll safely observe the eclipse using pin-hole cameras–bring an empty cereal box (or similar size box) to make your own. A limited number of solar eclipse glasses will be available.

Location: Kings Landing Park. We’ll be set up in the field in front of Wisner Hall. Free event for all ages. Registration is not necessary. Those under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
