IMPORTANT MUSTS:
- Buddy System: Sotterley encourages the use of the buddy system. Parents and chaperones should escort students as they go from station to station or if they need to use the restrooms.
- Dress Code: Sotterley is a 94- acre site and the majority of our programming is done outdoors.
o Wear clothing that can get dirty and that is weather appropriate.
o All must wear shoes since the activities do require walking on uneven terrain.
- Water: All students should come with a water bottle that they can refill on site.
- Exhibits: Sotterley’s exhibits play an important role in telling the history of the site.
o We encourage students, parents, and teachers to ask questions about the pieces on display
o Please refrain from climbing on the exhibits whether the objects are indoor or out.
o Remember that Sotterley is here to remember those who once lived and labored here, and the historic buildings should be treated with respect.
