On July 7, 2015, at 9:47 pm, a fire alarm/sprinkler system activated in the cell block at 325 Stafford Road, Barstow, in the Calvert County Detention Center. Adam Commodore, while waiting for a bond hearing, broke the sprinkler head in Booking Cell #1 causing the flow of water. The property is owned by the Calvert County Government and caused an estimated $200 in damages.
Mr. Commodore was removed from the area, causing a disruption of security and activities at the Detention Center. Mr. Commodore was charged with False Alarm and Destruction of Property. He is currently being detained, pending a bond review.
