Stolen Vehicle Set On Fire

On February 9, 2015, at 6:57am, a neighbor discovered a 2010 Cadillac CTS on fire in the 12000 Block of Palisades Drive inFire Marshal Dunkirk, after hearing a car alarm sounding and then calling 911. The Dunkirk Volunteer Fire Department responded to extinguish the fire and the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office responded and discovered the vehicle was reported stolen out of Prince George’s County.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. The estimated loss is $17,000. The public is asked to please forward information regarding this fire to the State Fire Marshal’s Office at 443-550-6835.
