Miss Lizzy
The Town of Chesapeake Beach invites you to spend a summer evening cruising aboard “Miss Lizzy.” “Miss Lizzy” is the new head boat in Fishing Creek, docked at Rod ‘N’ Reel Marina. Captain Shawn Gibson brought “Miss Lizzy” to Chesapeake Beach last summer and is looking forward to a spectacular 2015 fishing and cruising season. Captain Shawn is a third generation charter captain from Chesapeake Beach. He worked aboard his Grandfather’s charter boat “WHY NOT” as a boy and spent his summers off from college, mating and running Night fishing trips when his “Pop” needed a break. “Miss Lizzy” is named after Shawn’s Great Grandmother, who spent many years fishing from the very same docks where Miss Lizzy is located. Miss Lizzy is sixty-five feet long and carries 49 passengers.
We are offering three cruise dates for summer 2015. The Town will be hosting cruises on Friday, June 5, Saturday, July 25 and Friday, August 28, 2015. The Friday Evening cruises leave the dock promptly at 7:30 PM and return at 9:30 PM. The Saturday Evening cruise will leave at 7:00 PM and return at 9:00 PM. The cost is $32 per person. Children are welcome; there are no age limits, but these cruises are more suited for adults. Guests are allowed to bring small coolers with adult beverages, drinks and snacks. All cruises leave from the Rod ‘N’ Reel Dock located at 4165 Mears Avenue, Chesapeake Beach MD 20732.

Tickets are also available at Town Hall but must be purchased by check or cash, no credit cards accepted. The purchase price is $32 per person (adult or child). Town Hall will not take any reservations without accompanying payment.
