Susan D Evans Retirement Recognized by BOCC for 22 Years

The Calvert County Board of County Commissioners recognized Office Specialist II Susan D. Evans for dedicating 22 years of faithful service to county government and wished her well in her retirement.

Susan began her successful career in public safety as an office assistant II in June 2000. She was promoted to office specialist I in 2001 and to office specialist II in July 2008. Susan’s highly dedicated service and contributions have been demonstrated with outstanding pride throughout her stellar career with the Calvert County Sheriff’s Department and Corrections Bureau where she constantly improved administrative functions in the areas of accountability, efficiency and better work practices.

As a supervisor, she made it her personal goal to train, develop and manage staff who understand the entire operation and are focused on a mission to provide the best customer service and professionalism. Susan is greatly appreciated for her strong ethics, outstanding work knowledge and pursuit of perfection at every task.

Susan’s skills in accounting and record keeping are impeccable and her accuracy performing job tasks is without reproach. She has maintained the highest level of commitment, morality and loyalty throughout her career, always striving to put the agency first as a supervisor and a public servant.
