The BOCC Recognized Alberta Gray for Dedicating 37 Years to Little Angels Daycare

2022-04-16

The Calvert County Board of County Commissioners recognized and thanked Alberta Gray of Little Angels Daycare, known to most as Miss Bootsie, for dedicating over 37 years of nurturing, caring, and loving child care to the children and community of Calvert County.

After Alberta retired from Crownsville Hospital, she brought to life her vision of taking care of children and opened Little Angels Day Care in Owings, Maryland.

Alberta has successfully taught and prepared our next generation to excel in school. Many children that attended Little Angels Day Care have advanced in trade schools, been admitted to prestigious colleges and earned master’s degrees. Alberta also assists students who want to further their goals in childcare by providing internships and community service hours.

Thank you, Alberta, for all that you do!
