Your CCHS is doing its best, during these challenging times to fully accomplish our mission by collecting, preserving our Calvert County history, providing information and support to telephone inquiries/requests for genealogical research. Although we are not yet permitted to be open to members and the public, we are working on new and creative programming and virtual events. We have just begun recording for our Linden Virtual Library Program, some of our Brown Bag Lunch programs and will be placing them on our website for everyone’s viewing. Stay tuned for notices of these virtual programs and events by checking at our website: wwe.calverthistory.org. If you have any video/editing skills or want to get involved in this new CCHS virtual library program, please contact John Johnson at: director@calverthistory.org
Lastly, Calvert County Historical Society is very happy to share that we are just about to publish and provide to our membership, (sometime later this month), The Calvert Historian. More to follow on The Calvert Historian, as to its contents, to whom it is dedicated and those that worked so hard to get it written and published, for our Society.
