TONIGHT: Light the Night for Fallen Firefighters

“Light the Night for Fallen Firefighters”

All communities are invited to join the North Beach Volunteer Fire Department, the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation, and other organizations in “Light the Night for Fallen Firefighters”, part of the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Weekend.

When: Wednesday October, 3rd, at 6:30pm

Why: Light the Night for Fallen Firefighters is a nationwide tribute to firefighters who died in the line of duty. A brief ceremony will be held at the memorial gardens of the North Beach Volunteer Fire Department.

  • Fire Department Members, families, and community members, will pay tribute.
  • A prayer will be held
  • A reading of the “National Roll of Honor” of fallen firefighters
  • Special ceremony for the two NBVFD Line-of-duty deaths
  • Light fare will be provided
