On Saturday May 30th we will come together as a community to walk in honor and memory of those we have loved and lost through addiction. We invite everyone to begin sending us photos of their lost loved ones. Our Tri-County Memory Walk will take place along one mile of serene farm land where all of these photos will be displayed on fence posts lining our path.
We will each plant a seed in what will grow to become a vast field of sunflowers. Our sunflowers will symbolize hope and awareness not only to each of us; but also to the 11,000 drivers who pass Serenity Farm every day.
Once the Tri-County Memory Walk is over, all of the photos will be transferred into the Farming 4 Hunger Life Center where they will hang on a dedicated Memory Wall. Through their photos, our loved ones will carry a powerful message to the thousands of young people who will visit the Life Center this year.
