The Employee Recognition Committee (ERC) was pleased to support the nomination of Barbara Warner as Employee of the Month for March 2015. Barbara is an Executive Administrative Assistant I in the Office of Finance and Budget.
In December of 2014, the Finance and Budget Office moved from the courthouse at 175 Main Street to an office building down the street. Foot traffic patterns changed and sidewalks that were not previously used by employees, are now being used. During recent snow storms, certain areas had not been cleared. Barbara took it upon herself to come into work early on several occasions to shovel and salt the sections of sidewalks, to make it 
safer for staff to walk to and from the courthouse, Finance and Budget and the mailroom. Barbara went above and beyond her regular duties to make sure employees were safe.
As the Employee for the Month of March, Barbara was presented with a check and certificate at the Calvert Board of County Commissioners meeting for her dedication and hard work.
