New exhibit celebrates the legacy of the Creative Arts Forum
Inaugural Spotlight Series Exhibit Opens With Annmarie After Hours October 12
The Spotlight Series is a new exhibit program at Annmarie that will celebrate the vibrant arts community in Southern Maryland by periodically hosting exhibits in the Kay Daugherty Gallery featuring works by innovative artists from our region.
The Spotlight Series is created in memory of Kay Daugherty, who nurtured and supported countless artists throughout her life. The inaugural exhibit will feature works by Charlie Hewitt, Carolyn Egeli, Jane Rowe, and Bud Adams, four artists who were influenced by, and involved in, the formation of the Creative Arts Forum in Southern Maryland in the 1970s.
Join us on October 12 from 5-8pm for the opening reception. We’ll have live music, light hors d’ourvres and cash bar.
