Zalesak Hooks Trophy Rockfish Opening Day

ZalesakPhil Zalesak of Tall Timbers shows off his catch from opening day of the 2015 trophy rockfish season.

The 40-inch rockfish was caught on a white daisy chain in the Lower Potomac in about 60 feet of water.   Zalesak teaches fishing skills to children 7 – 12 years old as part of the Greenwell Foundation summer camp program.
